Favicon!
When i woke up today, my goal was to add something new to my site, and then write a tutorial for how i setup, what i added When i came across this new idea, i was really satisfied with the result, what i am obviously talking about is the new Favicon i added recently to the site! Favicon is that little logo that goes next to the address you typed in the browser! Normally it looks dull and plain like this.

After this tutorial it should be alot more razzle dazzle!
First step is to select the type of favicon you want places most website go with logos or initials of the website! Us here at the thekingkongblog.com, decided to go with a logo of King kong, no not me the actual monkey!
So once you have found the logo you will be using, we found this amazing site that make a favicon from any picture provided.
- Upload pictures
- click generate favicon
- download
Once all that is complete you will need to install the favicon so it loads where you want it to! For you beginners out there and/or lazy pros Digital Ramble, have made up a plugin which is straight forward in installation and implementation!
Download the plug in Here.
After all the steps are complete you should have a end result similar to this:

Hope this satisfied you favicon dreams!!!

The problem with creating favicon from picture is that it will be too small to understand what it is.
