All of us hope to have a blog with the reading level, at or above college level. The desirable case is to have a blog at high school level or lower, this allows for you to communicate at the level of the lowest common denominator. Which in turn increases your readership, and spread of your thoughts to readers and other bloggers alike. I am not sure how they attain there rating but the only thing I can think of is sentence length and word choice as the main contributors to the readability factor they give each blog.
