getMiro!

Filed under: Television, Video — kingkong @ 1:00 pm

Video, Video, Video! Honestly its changing the world! Now you can see anything you want to at anytime you want, anywhere you want with an internet connection and a computer! Youtube is a sensational earmark in online video, changing the world and how we look at it ( pronounced changing how we waste time at work). The latest addition to online video is Miro, I have been using this for a couple weeks now and it really has helped me find cool videos online, it also supports many different types of video formats. It also incorporates Bit torrent, which at the same helps create a video hub for all videos movies, episodes and online clips! Its also know as Joost slayer, the reason I was set aback by joost it wasn’t user friendly and it was limited by regions, which basically means that NO U.S IP no VIDEOS!! So Miro is the way to go!

Accuconferencing!

Filed under: ReviewMe — kingkong @ 11:30 pm

Whats the difference between web conferencing, video conferencing and a regular old conference call? Well nothing if your a customer of Accuconference they provide, all of the above features which allow there users to get in and work on several files and folders on the same system, it works by providing its users with a interactive web page which displays the content currently being worked on! For example my partner on this site, Abdallah and I work together on many of ours posts emailing back and forth, or even sometimes leaving drafts for one another on various websites! This would definitely simplify the transaction by allowing us to work on concurrently without have to wait for each of us to edit and submit back to the other. Accuconference allows for face to face video/audio chat and simultaneously eliminates any doubt in confusion with meaning, that occurs in emails and such.

Video Conferencing, has never been made so easy they website provides for various tutorials and how users can make the most out of there Accuconference subscription, and maximize throughput, yet at the same time for the most cost effective manner possible! The video tutorials in my opinion should be put under a seperate link i dont think users should be exposed to all that just by visiting the website. The websites design is similar to a blogs design which I think for a company doesn’t represent professionalism, which I think Accuconference has so I would definitely recommend a site design! There branding could also use some work that have a good catch phrase but they need to link that to some logo or something! Overall if I really needed to video conference with different parts of the world Accuconference would be my guys!

Buy a Dell 19-inch LCD Monitor, get a free PC!

Filed under: Tech — kingkong @ 3:02 pm

Okay, not really–the Dell Vostro mini-tower PC sells for $349 and comes with the aforementioned monitor, which is a pretty amazing deal any way you look at it. Granted, you’ll have to live with a pokey Intel Celeron processor (does the phrase “molasses in winter” mean anything?), but at least you get 1GB of RAM and Windows XP as your OS. (You can also get Vista Home Basic, but does the phrase “molasses in Russian winter” mean anything?)

Other specs include an 80GB hard drive, DVD/CD-RW drive, and 1-year warranty. So, yeah, this is the system to get for your kids or grandparents–folks who have fairly basic computing needs. But you better hurry: Dell’s Vostro notebooks went on sale yesterday, and today they’re sold out. These desktops won’t last, either.

Google You Maps

Filed under: Google — kingkong @ 11:00 pm

Google is taking a route and letting all its users edit possible entrances to places! This why i like Google so much they are the outsource kings, they know that there are people out there who can’t stand things at are incorrect, such as the masses who edit wikipedia daily! So they have recently decided to allow users to edit locations of interest up to 200 yard or 200 meters and resetting it. For example if you look up your house and its blocked by a cloud that particular day they decided to do a screen capture you could move the cursor the to the nearest entrance around the cloud! They cloud scenario really did happen to me once though! Here is a video check it out!
