Ok this has nothing to do with tech, but i think it needs to be seen. I know many people are indifferent with US politics but at the same time many people are very interested. Well for those of you who have noticed the last couple of Alexa update, your traffic fluctuating was due to the new system being put into place and your Alexa rank should be reflected in latest update. They also told us if you dont like your new update tough bananas, since they overall goal to please the community and respond to user feedback, so i guess that means if we complain enough we will get what we want!

They also addressed the skew towards technology blogs and the effectiveness of there readers to understand and install stuff like the sparky tool bar which allows Alexa to pick up visits from other browsers other than, IE. Where non tech bloggers audiences wouldn’t be as aware to install the tool bar giving the technology blogs a upper hand rank wise. The rest of thew update is outlined here.

This monkey recently switched back from Vista to XP, nothing great about the switch its just my laptop was running a bit long on memory with Firefox 2, eating away at my memory i need a really simple and good OS, which is stable and allows me to watch Flash Videos in real full screen ( ahem Ubuntu). Now what i got used to when i was using Vista is the useful previews it gives you when your using Alt+Tab and when i went back to XP i was in the dark again not know which was a blog post or which was the latest .pdf of the my resume. Since Windows XP, only shows the logo of the application pretty slick back in 2000, but all things can’t be timeless, well maybe somethings can.
