Love the Harry Potter Series?

Filed under: Movies, Ramblings, Rants — Abdalla Ahmed @ 12:44 pm

I love digg, you always find out whats the latest in the world and what I found out today shocked me! I always used to love the Harry Potter series for its wild imagination and sorcery but when I found out that Dumbledore is gay I was left bewildered as to why J.K Rowling would mention or do such a thing regarding a children’s book series.

Warning: This Post Contains Spoilers of Book 7

I wont say I have nothing against homosexuals because I do (god created Adam & Eve not Adam & Steve) but talking about such things and hinting at them in the books is simply insane. As the first comment on the digg post says, when is she gonna reveal the whole series is gay?

JKR: My truthful answer to you… I always thought of Dumbledore as gay. [ovation.] … Dumbledore fell in love with Grindelwald, and that that added to his horror when Grindelwald showed himself to be what he was.

To an extent, do we say it excused Dumbledore a little more because falling in love can blind us to an extend, but he met someone as brilliant as he was, and rather like Bellatrix he was very drawn to this brilliant person, and horribly, terribly let down by him.

Yeah, that’s how i always saw Dumbledore. In fact, recently I was in a script read through for the sixth film, and they had Dumbledore saying a line to Harry early in the script saying I knew a girl once, whose hair… [laughter]. I had to write a little note in the margin and slide it along to the scriptwriter, “Dumbledore’s gay!” [laughter] “If I’d known it would make you so happy, I would have announced it years ago!” (J.K Rowling Talking with an interview)

Among this stupid bit of news, we have one happy fact and that is Neville gets married to Hannah Abbott of hufflepuff (the wimps).

Writing Sponsored Reviews.

Filed under: Blogging, Make Money Online, Ramblings, Reviews — Abdalla Ahmed @ 7:39 pm

It is a wonderful moment when you receive sponsored review requests (especially your first one) and therefore upon that note it is absolutely necessary that you do everything in your power to make sure that you deliver the best product (review) that you can muster. Think about it, you have received someone else’s hard earned money for which they expect a top dollar return from.

A Sponsored Review is an article you write for an advertiser. You review their products and services and then post the review on your blog. Each advertiser has his or her own requirements (i.e. length, link info, etc.).

You write the review in your own tone, and can be as critical as needed. Constructive criticism is encouraged, but rude or hateful reviews are usually not recommended as future advertisers are put off!

Why Sell Sponsored Reviews?

There are many reasons why you would want to sell a Sponsored Review.

  • Earn hundreds or thousands of dollars* writing reviews as you build up a reputation, and audience, your value goes up.
  • Increase readership of your blog by writing high quality articles that your audience will appreciate. First rule of blogging is “post often”; it is the key to attracting subscribers.

    Chow Bitch Slapped By Google….Again?

Filed under: Ramblings — Abdalla Ahmed @ 6:12 am

It seems that the page rank is in fact taking place and the big blogs or people who used to “game the system” seem to have found out first hand. First big boy blog to see the change? None other than Mr John Chow himself with a drop in PR from his precious PR 6 to a lower PR 5.

    Just check for yourself: http://digpagerank.com/index.php?url=www.johnchow.com&dc=18

“Just about anyone knows the love-hate relation Google has with John Chow, our all time favorite blogging moo-gul.”….JohnCow

Perhaps this is when the paradody blog becomes the master and chow the student?

We would welcome a PR change here over the king kong blog, infact I looked the other day and saw a predicted future PR of 5 which would be a huge achievement if that was to come true. What do you think? What PR will we get or what PR will you hope to get!

    Our New Theme!

Filed under: Ramblings — Abdalla Ahmed @ 6:37 pm

Dudes, I present to you the new theme which Mahdi had been working on hard consistently for the past few days: all embrace the new “blue” look that I am sure looks a million times better than the lame brown one we used to have before! Yes, we have followed the general autumn theme changes which have seen other major blogs revamp their looks. Examples include Shoemoney, JohnChow, Enkay Blog, Darin and so on

The new theme is here to help establish this blog as a legitimate website for resources and guide you to make money online. Now that the theme is done and out of the way, we have a few goals that hopefully we will accomplish really soon. Some of them include a scheduled minimum of 2 posts a day, more “make money online” and monkey business stuff :D

We hope you enjoy this new change as much as we are. If you see any bugs (major or minor) or dont like this theme for whatever reason, then do not hesitate to contact us

A Special Thank You to Enkay for helping us with this kick ass theme! I certainly will be emailing him about my blog when I feel the time has come for a theme change or simple face lift, the guy deserves a coupla bucks!

Note:We are currently updating a few stuff such as the pages and RSS feed links at the bottom so please bear with us!
