Filed under: Beta, Start Ups — kingkong @ 2:07 am

I have been smsing the lady monkeys for sometime now, and its totally TMTH (too much to handle) with all the ladies i am trying to keep track and having to delete my messages of constant fear of a girl getting hold of my phone, but the pimps over at treasuremytext have come up with the perfect solution! A online storage place for all your text messages which can be organized in many different ways to maximize sms functionality and use! What do you need to do in order to take advantage of this service forward all sms to there flat rate US and Canada number (203) 434-0893.  They also offer a jailbreak iPhones with an app design by the staff of treasuremytext, which integrates message forwarding in the already exsisting iPhone which lack this very critical and seriously over looked feature. HD done right, vimeo

Filed under: HD, Start Ups, Video, Youtube — kingkong @ 7:19 am

So the hottest thing in video lately is getting your content in high quality and like all other things faster! Vimeo has been around for sometime now, and have gained a good following, it has unique sets of videos, and channel authors! I personally hope it takes a leading role in the video content online, its interface is clean simple and allows for good navigation, which is key for me. I found myself searching for popular clips i see all over the internet and Vimeo hasn’t gained enough of mainstream traffic but it holds great promise, but like all other video sites there good before they get bastardized by the legal system, protection rights, and horny young teens jump on the wagon and everything becomes censorship and violation. Many video site (pronounce: youtube) have been know to just pull channels, which really throws off both the author and the viewer from wanting to come back. The way they limit video uploading is different too its size based not length of the clip, so you can upload up to 500Mb per week which allows for clips of all lengths and qualities. Above is quality spectrum between other video sites and vimeo. The video below goes to illustrate the visible difference between youtube and vimeo:

Digsby digs twitter, and spell check.

Filed under: Start Ups, Tech — kingkong @ 2:42 am

Digsby the soon to be multi-platform instant messaging giant, has been doing wonders for me in the past couple of months. As a blogger I have many different contact all around the world, using all various ways to keep in touch, such as facebook, twitter, linkedin, msn, aim , and finally yahoo. Now what Digsby allows for is for all my contacts to be able to reach me once through my digsby account which consolidates, simplifies, and finesses my interaction with my contacts and keeping track of all my emails. Digsby is still in beta but today they entered public beta which means its no longer private and you don’t need to use the promo code lifehacker anymore. I have been using it since its private beta and the experience have been extremely pleasant and its only going to get better. Updates are pushed as the user launches the application, all previous accounts are remembered, and in my opinion it pretty fast and i have had very few problems with it. Imagine having AIM, Yahoo, MSN, and Gtalk open all at once beeping unrhythmically with there own specifc sounds sets. On that note Digsby is music to my ears!

Search me up Spock!

Filed under: Paid Review, Start Ups — kingkong @ 2:30 am

I was jumping around like usual and looking for the newest interesting websites out there and guess what i came across, a website that literally can track anyone with an online finger print. Its pretty insane. The people over at http://www.spock.com have taken it to another level. So i spock’d myself, not what i usually do at night and what i found was pretty shocking a xanga i started up when i was still in high school. The design is simple and plain which is beautiful , the site has a few kinks in the background but very effective and functional none the less, i am sure people will be stalking one another in no time! So go ahead spock that special someone at Spock.com-the best for people search, and start that unhealthy obsession. This post has been brought to you by the grace of 7up and Fanta.
