HD done right, vimeo

So the hottest thing in video lately is getting your content in high quality and like all other things faster! Vimeo has been around for sometime now, and have gained a good following, it has unique sets of videos, and channel authors! I personally hope it takes a leading role in the video content online, its interface is clean simple and allows for good navigation, which is key for me. I found myself searching for popular clips i see all over the internet and Vimeo hasn’t gained enough of mainstream traffic but it holds great promise, but like all other video sites there good before they get bastardized by the legal system, protection rights, and horny young teens jump on the wagon and everything becomes censorship and violation. Many video site (pronounce: youtube) have been know to just pull channels, which really throws off both the author and the viewer from wanting to come back. The way they limit video uploading is different too its size based not length of the clip, so you can upload up to 500Mb per week which allows for clips of all lengths and qualities. Above is quality spectrum between other video sites and vimeo. The video below goes to illustrate the visible difference between youtube and vimeo:

openHulu

Now whats the next best thing thing to streaming video online? Stream HQ video online. Hulu started providing this service for all NBC series and sitcoms. Now what has hit the bunsen burner so to speak OpenHulu.com and guess what you don’t even have to register to get the quality video that you want! But the service is still limited to only the US and they are slowly migrating the videos they get from there and putting it on there site. I believe its only a matter of time till they get shutdown! But all the best to them till they do! But I still don’t understand why they separate US and Canadian online video. I see there is absolutely no point! But Kong is on the job! I will find a way!

I would give them a Digg too! openHulu

getMiro!

Video, Video, Video! Honestly its changing the world! Now you can see anything you want to at anytime you want, anywhere you want with an internet connection and a computer! Youtube is a sensational earmark in online video, changing the world and how we look at it ( pronounced changing how we waste time at work). The latest addition to online video is Miro, I have been using this for a couple weeks now and it really has helped me find cool videos online, it also supports many different types of video formats. It also incorporates Bit torrent, which at the same helps create a video hub for all videos movies, episodes and online clips! Its also know as Joost slayer, the reason I was set aback by joost it wasn’t user friendly and it was limited by regions, which basically means that NO U.S IP no VIDEOS!! So Miro is the way to go!
